  • Easy-to-operate design.
  • High-strength & lightweight structure.
  • More cost-effective.
  • Quick assembly and disassembly.
  • Customizable kits.

The truck or trailer with a sliding side door has a simple structure and has more advantages than traditional hinged doors. It is widely used in urban distribution, express logistics, and especially in transporting large-sized goods.

Sliding side doors offer many benefits

Adapt to narrow areas

The sliding side door opens by sliding horizontally, without the need to expand outward like a swing door, so there is no need to reserve external space for the door to open. The vehicle can pass or park in narrow streets, warehouse doors or crowded loading and unloading areas.

Simple operation

The sliding side door is equipped with a lightweight guide rail and pulley system. The operator can easily push and pull it open and close with one hand, which is more time-saving and labor-saving than the swing door, so it is particularly suitable for vehicles with frequent loading and unloading.

Reduce safety risks

If the swing door is not fixed after opening, it may be accidentally closed due to wind or shaking, resulting in injuries to people; the trajectory of the sliding door is fixed, avoiding the risk of collision caused by the swing door “swinging outward”.

Efficient work

The sliding side door leaves more operating space for the porters. If the box body is designed as a double-sided sliding side door, the cargo can be loaded and unloaded on both sides at the same time, which is more efficient when used with a forklift or conveyor belt.

Low manufacturing and maintenance costs

The sliding side door box body has a low construction cost due to its simple design. The mechanical structure of the sliding door is simpler than that of the swing door, with a low failure rate. Daily maintenance only requires regular lubrication of the guide rail.
