Meat refrigerated trucks are specially designed for transporting and storing meat and other perishable foods. The main purpose of commonly transported meats such as pork, beef, mutton, chicken, duck, goose, etc. is to keep the meat under suitable temperature conditions, prevent bacterial growth and food spoilage, and maintain its freshness.
Temperature requirements for meat refrigerated trucks

Frozen meat
Frozen meat usually needs to be transported at temperatures of minus 18 degrees Celsius or lower. This helps prevent bacterial growth and maintains the quality and freshness of the meat.

Refrigerated meat
Most fresh meat needs to be kept at 0 degrees Celsius or lower during transportation. This helps slow microbial growth and extends the shelf life of meat.

Poultry
Chicken and other poultry products are generally required to be transported at lower temperatures, usually below 0 degrees Celsius.
Basic requirements for the design of meat refrigerated trucks

Insulation material
Foam with low thermal conductivity is usually used as insulation material, such as PU (polyurethane) or XPS foam, to reduce temperature changes in the box and maintain a constant temperature. Polyurethane material has very low thermal conductivity and low density. It is both lightweight and insulating. It is the preferred insulation material for most refrigerated trucks.

Refrigeration Unit
The refrigeration unit is key to keeping the temperature inside the truck within safe food preservation ranges. There is often the option of a self-contained refrigeration unit to ensure safety during transport.

Hygienic standards
The design of the meat refrigerated truck box needs to comply with hygienic standards to ensure food safety and comply with regulatory requirements. The inner surface material of the box is made of antibacterial FRP sheet, which can effectively prevent the growth of bacteria.

Shockproof
In order to protect meat and other food products from bumps and vibrations, refrigerated truck boxes usually have a shockproof design to ensure that the goods remain stable during transportation. Installing E-trakcs and meat hook suspension devices is a common configuration.

Easy to clean
In order to facilitate cleaning and hygiene, the floor of the refrigerated truck box usually uses easy-to-clean materials and designs to prevent the growth of bacteria and odors. Anti-skid aluminum plates are commonly used floor materials.
